Skyline Blvd, aka Hwy 35 (5 miles)
The scenic highway along the ridges of the Santa Cruz Mountain. You’ll find it at the top of the mountain. Turn right if you want to explore. With its many wonderful hiking trails and scenic overlooks, it runs all the way to Boulder Creek, near Santa Cruz.

Crystal Springs Reservoir (7 miles)
A beautiful lake that stores the water we use on the Coastside. Notable in that there is no public access to it, so no boating or fishing are possible, and the western shore is all watershed, so there are no houses or businesses.

Sawyer Camp Trail (9 miles – turn left at Hwy 35 traffic light at bottom of mountain, go 3 more miles)
A paved hiking, biking, inline skating trail running many miles along the shore of Crystal Springs Reservoir. A great place for some exercise and fresh air.

Filoli House and Gardens (9 miles – turn right at Canada Road traffic light, just before going under Hwy 280, go 3 miles)
Magnificently-maintained 654-acre estate with 16 acres of formal gardens and a 36,000 sq. ft. Georgian mansion, full of art and antiques. Plan on spending several hours enjoying its many sights, and have lunch at the tea shop in the Visitors Center (great baked goods!)
